What happened
The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.
Upon landing, as the nose wheel touched down, the aircraft veered to the left. The pilot applied right brake to correct. He then taxied and took off again. Upon landing the second time, it veered to the left. The pilot applied right brake and the aircraft steered hard right onto the taxiway, at which time the nose gear broke off below the attach point at the bottom of the engine. The propeller impacted the taxiway when the nose gear seperated from the aircraft. There was no damage to property and minor damage to the aircraft. There was no post impact fire or injuries.
