From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

Pilot preflighted the aircraft that morning and no faults were found. Took off out of greenwood lake airport with the intentions of performing basic pilot maneuvers. After recovering from a power on stall with the aircraft in level flight a severe vibration developed. Pilot diverted to the closest airport being Sussex NJ. The first approach into Sussex was too high the pilot performed a go around resulting in the vibration becoming much worse. On the second approach the aircraft landed successfully. After landing pilot observed piece of propeller missing and called the controlling FAA office.
