From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

On 10 January 2026, during deicing operations in deice bay P1 at ted stevens Anchorage international airport (anc), privacy data omitted (aircraft B-16786) sustained damage to the no.1 (left-hand) engine inlet. The deicing vehicle D-205 was applying type iv fluid to the left wing root and progressing outboard. During maneuvering near the left engine, a fire extinguisher mounted on the front bumper of the deicing vehicle contacted the no.1 engine inlet at approximately the 6 o’clock position. The flight crew had no abnormal system indications while enroute. privacy data omitted Landed safely at hartsfield–jackson atlanta international airport (atl), where the maintenance found no.1 engine inlet cowl damage at the 6 o’clock position.
