From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

On 20260119, at approximately 1840PST aircraft 1 landed at ktoa rwy 29L. The aircraft exited the runway at ‘d’ and continued in an eastward direction to taxi on taxiway ‘a. ATC had instructed the PIC to exit at ‘e’. The PIC stated that he missed ‘e’ due to the taxiway/edge lighting being inoperative. After missing ‘e’ ATC instructed the PIC to exit ‘f’. At ‘f’ aircraft 1 turned south and then west after departing ‘f’. At this point aircraft 1 is on the ramp taxiway heading west. Upon making the turn aircraft 1 had to remain to the north of the ramp taxiway centerline due to a parked saab 340 twin turbo prop aircraft encroaching on the taxiway centerline. Approximately 200 yards west of ‘f’, aircraft 1 collided with parked aircraft 2. The RH wingtip of aircraft 1 contacted left wingtip of aircraft 2. When the wingtip of aircraft 1 contacted the outboard flap roller of aircraft 2 forward motion stopped and aircraft 1 pivoted on its right main gear until the prop hit aircraft 2’S prop and LH engine cowling. At this point aircraft 1’S engine stopped and all aircraft motion ceased. The time was approximately 1844PST. The PIC of aircraft 1 then called tower, making them aware of the collision.

As the FAA filed it
