From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

Pilot (a CFI) initiated takeoff from the aircraft right seat with intent to refresh his flying skills from that seat. When takeoff power was applied his seat slid aft on the seat track to a position from which he could not reach the primary flight controls or the throttle. Aircraft was then uncontrolled and exited the left side of the runway under full power and impacted a nearby hangar damaging that hangar and the aircraft that was parked therein - in addition to substantially damaging the pilot's Cessna 172.
