From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

Pilot aborted the take-off; aircraft was unable to stop and overran the end of the runway into a parking lot and struck wire spool racks and parts conveyor.

Aircraft propeller struck wire spool racks in parking lot damaging the spinner and propeller blades.

Right wing struck a separate parts conveyor. Damage was to outboard leading edge up to right wing spar and wing tip.

A check of the primary flight controls showed free movement in full range of travel with no binding or restrictions post-accident. Flaps had full travel and locked in each detent (non-electric flaps).

Check of fuel tanks showed that the left and right tanks were almost full, easily visible from the fuel tank cap.

A check of aircraft interior all placards were in good condition, analog indicators were in good condition and range marking readable. Electronic indicators were not powered up as key had been removed from aircraft.

Engine controls and the fuel selector were in position of shut down.

Aircraft airworthiness certificate and registration were available from pilot station.

FAA approved POH was available for aircraft m/m/s and revision level 13.

Aircraft weight and balance and current equipment list dated August 07 2025 was available from the pilot station.

Flight manual supplements were available in the POH for the equipment installed.

The aircraft came to rest approximately 350 feet from runway-end markers for the grass runway.

Compression check of the engine was performed after aircraft was removed from the accident site and all cylinders were at the top of their range.
