From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

On June 3, 2026, at approximately 2056Z, the pilot indaicated that he performed a stable approach to runway 08 at klci. Flaps were at 30 and gear was down PIC was on final approach target speed. PIC began a late flare and realized that he needed more back pressure on the yoke to further arrest his descent rate. As he did the main gear hit the runway and bounced into the air several feet. In an attempt to recover he pushed the yoke forward and attempted to flare again. Pilot indicated the aircraft did not respond as expected and hit the runway nose gear first followed quickly by the main gear causing a second bounce higher than the first. He then again pushed the yoke forward and flared a final time landing firmly on the runway and came to a complete stop
