From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

On 06/13/2026 at approximately 0830 a Beechcraft E33 performed a gear up landing at ksbs (Steamboat spring bob Adams field, CO). Pilot reported during the take off sequence the landing gear was slow to retract and the flaps would not retract from 10% to 0. Pilot cycled flaps from 10% to 30% in an attempt to reset the flap system. Flaps were frozen at 30% and would not retract. Pilot stated there was another aircraft on runway 32 which did not move to give right of way to aircraft experiencing a problem. Pilot heard gear warning on short final and thought he had placed the gear switch in the down position. Pilot landed gear up on runway 32. During aircraft removal operations the recovery team lifted the aircraft and upon application of electrical power, the main landing gear swung down and locked. The nose gear compartment door was damaged during the sequence and required effort to open. Once nose gear door was open, nose gear swung down and locked. Aircraft was towed to parking with no further issues. Damage to prop, nose gear compartment door, belly and flaps was noted during investigatioin.
