From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

Pilot was doing touch and go's for currency on his private grass field. He had done a few and on the last landing he was aligned with the runway with a head wind and when he got closer to the runway the head wind gave out and the aircraft settled in to the bean field rolled onto the runway and the beans that were caught on the landing gear, flipped the airplane upside down on the center of the runway. Pilot stated that when he noticed the issue there was not enought time at the last minute to complete a go around. There was no post impact fire.
