From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

Because of a taxiway closure for construction, the pilot was back taxiing to the departure end of the runway. The pilot was hurrying because other traffic was entering the traffic pattern and reached a very excessive taxi speed. The pilot finally reduced power and applied brakes, however insufficient runway remained to stop the aircraft. Both tires locked up resulting in the aircraft skidding and the aircraft departed the end of the runway at 30 knots, struck a runway light which damaged the main gear strut and finally stopped in the grass south of the runway.
