From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

On 7/14/2026 pilot and two passengers on board N850LC, Socata model TBN-700 departed (elp) in route to (5C1) in IFR conditions. Seconds after touchdown, a pop was heard as the nose tire separated from the rim. Aircraft pulled to the left, departed runway into the mud. Aircraft damage was minor as the proppeller substained damage during the landing event. Examination of nose gear tire was insignifigant leading to the tire possibly being under inflated during the landing event.
