WHILE OPENING LEFT OVERWING EXIT DURING C-CHECK THE SLIDE WAS INADVERTENTLY DEPLOYED DUE TO IMPROPER DE-ARMING PROCEDURES. SLIDE DID NOT PROPERLY DEPLOY DUE TO RETAINING PIN NOT RELEASING. SLIDE ASSEMBLY SENT OUT FOR OVERHAUL.
