SMOKE IN COCKPIT ORIGINATED NEAR CAPTAINS YOKE LIGHT SWITCH PANEL. TURNED BATTERY SWITCH OFF. SMOKE DISSIPATED. INSPECTED AREA BEHIND CAPTAINS YOKE. FOUND LOOSE WIRE BEHIND EDGE PANEL. SECURED WIRE. PERFORMED OPERATION OF YOKE LIGHT SWITCH. NO DEFECTS NOTED.
