SMOKE WAS OBSERVED EMITTING FROM THE LOWER SECTION OF THE R/H WINDSHIELD IN THE AREA OF THE HEATING ELEMENT. THE CREW TURNED OFF THE WINDSHIELD HEAT, AT WHICH TIME THE SMOKE CEASED.
