WHILE IN ROUTE, THE LT T-HANDLE ILLUMINATED. CREW COMPLIED WITH EMERGENCY CHECKLIST AND DIVERTED DECLARED EMERGENCY AND LANDED SAFELY WITH NO FURTHER INCIDENT. IT WAS THEN FERRIED, MAINTENACE REMOVED AND REPLACED LT FWD FIRE LOOP ASSY.
