OIL PRESSURE DROPPED, ENGINE PROPELLER STARTED SLOWING. PILOT FEATHERED PROPELLER AND MADE SAFE, PRECAUTIONARY LANDING. APPEARS ENGINE HAD CATASTROPHIC FAILURE. CRANK, ROD, OR COUNTERWEIGHT HAD COME APART. SUBMITTER STATED TOO EARLY IN INVESTIGATION TO NAME SPECIFIC CAUSE.
