NR# 286 - DURING HEAVY MAINTNENANCE #2 ENGINE L/E OF CONTAINMENT RING HAS CORROSION AROUND BOTTOM HALF. ACCOMPLISHED WITH ENGINE REMOVED AND REPLACEMENT IAW MD-11 T/C: MS-71-00-03-00-00-01-WG, SEQ, W/O#15700 AND AMM 71-00-03-000-801. THE AIRCRAFT WAS APPROVED FOR RETURN TO SERVICE.
