DURING HEAVY MAINTENANCE CHECK RT OUTER WING LOWER REAR SPAR HAS CORROSION AT APPROX XORS-581. AFTER FURTHER EVALUATION, BOEING CERTIFIED THE BLENDED LOCATION AS A PERMANENT REPAIR & BEEN ACCOMPLISHED WITH ALL THE REQUESTED PROVISIONS, AT RT OUTER WING LOWER REAR SPAR AT APPROX. XORS-581. THE AIRCRAFT WAS APPROVED FOR RETURN TO SERVICE.
