RDU - AFTER TAKEOFF LANDING GEAR RETRACTED AND RED NOSE GEAR LIGHT STAYED ON. LANDED RDU WITHOUT INCIDENT. INSPECTED NOSE STRUT PISTON. REPLACED NOSE SCHRADER VALVE AND O-RING AND REPACKED NOSE STRUT. SYSTEM GROUND CHECKED NORMAL OPERATION.
