LANDING GEAR WAS SELECTED UP AND A SURGING WAS FELT ALONG WITH A LONGER THAN USUAL GEAR INTRANSIT LIGHT. FOUND GEAR UP SELECT SWITCH HAD FAILED. REPLACED GEAR UP SELECT SWITCH, GEAR RETRACTION CHECKED NORMAL. (X)
