ON APPROACH THE LANDING GEAR HAD TO BE LOWERED USING PROCEDURE A (EMERGENCY PROCEDURES). MAINTENANCE INSPECTED THE AIRCRAFT AND FOUND THE NR2 LANDING GEAR UPLOCK SWITCH INOPERATIVE. REMOVED AND REPLACED UPLOCK SWITCH WITH SERVICEABLE PART. OPS CHECK GOOD. (K)
