EMERGENCY LIGHT AT MAIN CABIN DOOR HINGE IS INOP. INSPECTED AND FOUND THE LIGHT BASE ASSY HAD A BAD GROUND. CLEANED BONDING SURFACE AND REINSTALLED GROUND. OPS CHECK GOOD IAW EMB 140 AMM 33-50-00.
