AIRCRAFT 5008, FAS REPORTED DIRTY SOCK SMELL IN DESCENT PASS 8500 MSL. ENG ANTI-ICE HAD RECENTLY BEEN TURNED ON IN CLOUDS. FOUND PUDDLE OF OIL INSIDE OF ENG NR 2 INLET CONE, FOUND OF FAN SHAFT COVER SEAL. REPLACED FAN SHAFT COVER SEAL IAW AMM 72-15. (LP 7791092)
