F/O NR 1 FRONT WINDSHIELD SPARKED, ARC OFF ON APPROACH, ELECTRICALLY HEATED WINDSHIELDS, NR 1 WINDOW. DURING REMOVAL OF FLT COMPARTMENT PANELS, FOUND CHARED & DAMAGED WIRE. SPLICED WIRE IAW SWPM 20-30. PERFORMED OPS TEST OF WINDOW HEAT SYS IAW 30-41. ALL CHKD GOOD. (9628000) AIRCRAFT WAS GROUNDED
