WHILE ON SHORT FINAL, CREW REPORTED THE NR 1 FMS DISPLAY WENT BLANK FOLLOWED BY AN ODOR OF SMOKE. MX VERIFIED THE NR 1 FMS WAS INOPERATIVE AND REPLACED THE UNIT.
