What was found
THE AIRCRAFT WAS IN THE PATTERN, PILOTS NOTED THE ALTERNATOR WAS NO LONGER CHARGING. A STRONG BURNING ODOR ENTERED THE CABIN. INSPECTION AND FOUND THE ALTERNATOR HAD SEIZED, CAUSING THE ALTERNATOR BELT TO OVERHEAT AND MELT.
