What was found

DURING THE FINAL APPROACH AT VCP AIRPORT, THE AIRCRAFT EXPERIENCED A BIRD STRIKE ON SLAT NO. 6 OF THE LEFT WING LEADING EDGE. IAW AIRBUS SRM 57-40-00-283-019, THE DAMAGE WAS INSPECTED AND FOUND TO BE BEYOND THE ALLOWABLE LIMITS. THEREFORE, REPLACEMENT OF THE SLAT ASSEMBLY IS CURRENTLY IN PROGRESS.
