DA40 (1) Garmin Master Drawing List (MDL) 005 -C0004-00, Revision F, dated June 22, 2004, and (2) FAA Approved Flight Manual Supplement (AFMS), Dwg. Number 190-00303-02, Revision 4, dated June 25, 2004 or later Transport Canada approved revisions to (1) or (2).

The modified aircraft must be operated in accordance with the applicable Airplane Flight Manual Sup plement (AFMS) identified on the Master Drawing List. Compatibility of this design change with previously approved modifications must be determined by the installer.

If the holder agrees to permit another person to use this certificate to alter the product, the holder shall give the other person written evidence of that permission.

For the DA 40 the Hartzell propeller HC-C2YR-1BF/F7495S has been shown to be compatible with the G1000 Integrated Avionics System. Other propeller installations that have the same engine limitations as required by the Hartzell propeller HC-C2YR-1BF/F7495S could be shown to be compatible with the G1000 system. Compatibility for other propeller installations must be determined by the installer. The MT Propeller Co. MTV-12-B/180-17( ) installation in the DA40 is not compatible with the G1000 system.

Previous design changes that are necessary to enable the newly altered product to be airworthy or to complete the installation are:

Diamond OAM modifications in accordance with Garmin Installation drawing 005 -00304-00, Revision 3 dated March 14, 2005, or later FAA approved revision (for the long range fuel tank).
