Description of Type Design Change: Conversion from tricycle landing gear arrangement to conventional landing gear arrangement in accordance with Lowe Aviation Aircraft Maintenance, “Conversion Procedure for Installation of Cessna 140 Conventional Landing Gear on Cessna 150 Aircraft,” Control Number LA150TD, Revision 1, dated August 18, 2016, or later FAA approved revision.
1. Compatibility of this modification with other FAA approved modifications, on this aircraft being altered, must be evaluated by the installer.
2. FAA Approved Supplemental Flight Manual for Cessna 150 D and E equipped with conventional Landing Gear, Rev. Orig., dated August 18, 2016, or later FAA approved revision, is a required part of this modification for models 150 D and E only due to weight limitations.
3. A copy of this Certificate must be maintained as part of the permanent record of the modified aircraft.
4. Instructions for Continued Airworthiness see, “Conversion Procedure for Installation of Cessna 140 Conventional Landing Gear on Cessna 150 Aircraft,” Control Number 150TD, Revision 1, dated August 18, 2016, or later FAA accepted revision.
