DE-DA42-710001, Issue C, dated September 19, 2013 or later EASA approved revision and Installation Instructions, IM- DA42-710001, Issue B, dated March 3, 2014 or later EASA approved revision.

1. The aircraft must be operated in accordance with the "Limitation" section of the Pilot's Operating Handbook Supplement, Doc.

No. PO-DA42-710001, Issue D , dated August 15, 2016 or later EASA approved revision and is required for this installation.

2. The installer must determine whether this design change is compatible with previously approved modifications.

3. If the holder agrees to permit another person to use this certificate to alter a product, the holder must give the other person written evidence of that permission.

2. Operation must be in accordance with Pilot's Operating Handbook Supplement, Doc. No. PO-DA42-710001, Issue D, dated August 15, 2016 or later EASA approved revision is required for this installation.

3. Maintenance must be accomplished in accordance with Maintenance Manual, Doc. No. MM-DA42-710001, Issue D, dated September 13, 2016 or later EASA accepted revision.

Certification Basis:

Based on 14 CFR §21.115 and §21.101, and FAA Order 8110.48, the certification basis for this modification to the Diamond DA 42 aircraft is as follows:

a) The type certification basis for the Diamond DA 42 aircraft as shown on TCDS A57CE for pasts not changed or not affected by the change.

b) The type certification basis for the Diamond DA 42 aircraft as shown on TCDS A57CE for parts changed or affected by the change with the following exceptions:

o 14 CFR Part 36 at amendment 36-30.
