Installation of the KFC 230 Aerocruze Automatic Flight Control System (FCS) upgraded from KFC 200 FCS in accordance with Aerospace Design & Compliance, LLC. data:

(1) Master Data List (MDL) 89800019-112. Rev IR, dated 7/13/2020, or later FAA approved revision.

(2) Instructions for Continued Airworthiness (ICA) 89800019-111, Rev A, dated 7/13/2020, or later FAA accepted revision. The ICA and its contents must be incorporated into the operator's maintenance program. See continuation sheet 3 through 3.

1. The installer must determine whether this design change is compatible with previously approved modifications.

(3) Airplane Flight Manual Supplement (AFMS) 89000019-070, Rev IR, dated 7/15/2020, or later FAA approved revision.

2. If the holder agrees to permit another person to use this certificate to alter a product, the holder must give the other person written evidence of that permission.

3. This STC is applicable to all serial numbers for the Make and Models listed on AML No. 89800019-110.

4. Prior FAA approved installation of a KFC 200 Flight Control System as specified by AML No. 89900019-110 is a prerequisite to this STC.

Certification Basis:

Based on 14 CFR §§ 21.115 and 21.101, and FAA policy for significant changes in FAA Order 8110.48, the certification basis for the FAA Approved Model List (AML) No.

89800019-110 is as follows:

(1) The type certification basis for all Models included in AML No. 89800019-110 is included in the applicable TCDS as listed in the FAA approved AML for parts not changed or not affected by the change.

(2) The certification basis for parts changed or affected by the change since the reference date of application March 13, 2020, is based upon Title 14 CFR Part 23 as amended by Amendment 23-62 with the exception of those above amendment 23-62 listed below.
