SA12428CH 09/09/2026 Description of Type Design Change (Continued):
Installation of the Lycoming Engines Electronic Ignition System (EIS) in accordance with (1) Master Data List (MDL) 99A100853, Rev -, dated July 27, 2026, or later FAA approved revision. (2) Instructions for Continued Airworthiness (ICA) Lycoming Part Number:
ICA-0005, dated June 6, 2026, or later FAA accepted revision, shall be made available to the operator at the time of installation and be incorporated into the operator's maintenance program.
(3) Aircraft Flight Manual Supplement (AFMS) SSP-323, Rev IR, dated July 15, 2026, or later FAA approved revision, is required and must be carried during all flights
2) If the holder agrees to permit another person to use this certificate to alter a product, the holder must give the other person written evidence of that permission.
3) Prerequisite TC/STC/Documents:
a) SI-1443 Rev-T (or later FAA accepted revision) Approved Slick Magnetos, Hartzell PowerUp Magnetos, and Lycoming Electronic Ignition System (EIS) on Lycoming Engines
b) SA04400NY for TCW Technologies, LLC installation of the integrated Backup Battery System (IBBS), (when applicable)
c) SI-1569 Rev-B (or later FAA accepted revision) Installation Operation and Maintenance of Lycoming EIS
d) SSP-625 Rev-IR (or later FAA accepted revision) Installation Instructions for Lycoming EIS
e) SSP-423 Rev-IR (or later FAA accepted revision) Fixed Wing AML
