Description of Type Design Change: Installation of a Venting Engineering, Ltd. fuel cap and restricting adapter assembly (Part No. 575-010) in accordance with Venting Engineering, Ltd. Installation Instructions No. 575-1000, dated October 23, 1985, or later FAA approved revisions.

TOTE 1. This modification is a replacement for Cessna fuel cap (Part No. C156001-0106).

2. This cap assembly complies with AD 79-10-14 as per amendment 39-5901, dated 5/30/88.

3. This installation applies only to those aircraft models listed in the AML that were originally eligible for the Wisco red plastic fuel cap (Cessna P/N C-156001).

Limitations and Conditions: Approval of this change in type design applies to the above model aircraft only. This approval should not be extended to other aircraft of this model on which other previously approved modifications are incorporated unless it is determined that the relationship between this change and any of those other previously approved modifications, including changes in type design, will introduce no adverse effect upon the airworthiness of that aircraft. A copy of this Certificate and Approved Model List (AML) shall be maintained as part of the permanent records for the modified aircraft.
