Description of the Type Design Change: Installation of Skymotive jump door Model 62-500 in accordance with Skymotive, Inc photographs 1 through 6,. Master Drawing List (MDL) No. 62-500, Sheets 1 through 31, and Skymotive, Inc. Installation instructions 62-500, or later FAA-approved revision.

FAA-approved Airplane Flight Manual Supplement (AFMS), dated July 22, 1963, for Cessna 170 or Cessna 180 airplane is required with this installation.

Limitations and Conditions: Approval of this change in type design applies to the above model aircraft only.

This approval should not be extended to other aircraft of this model series unless the installer determines that the relationship between this change and any other previously incorporated approved modifications will introduce no adverse effect upon the airworthiness of that aircraft. (See Continuation Sheet on Page 3)

A copy of this certificate and AFMS must be maintained as part of the permanent records for the modified aircraft.

If the holder agrees to permit another person to use this certificate to alter the product, the holder shall give the other person written evidence of that permission.
