Installation of a BAS, Inc., or a Blancher Model 101 stowable seat in accordance with either BAS, Inc. Drawing List No. 1001, Revision B, dated August 13, 1986; or Bud’s Aero Specialities Drawing List Report 1001, dated April 15, 1980; or Long View Aviation Drawing List Report No. 1001, Revision F, dated December 3, 2006; or LakeVue Aeronautics Drawing List, Revision C, dated February 15, 2008; or later FAA approved revision.
Note: These seats serve as replacements for the center seat. Only those Model R172K and 175 series aircraft equipped with FAA approved center seat floor mounted seat belt attach points are eligible for this installation.
The compatibility of this design change with other previously approved modifications must be determined by the installer. A copy of this Certificate and the Airplane Model List (AML) No. SA933NW must be maintained as part of the permanent records of the modified aircraft. If the holder of this STC agrees to permit another person to use this certificate to alter the product, the holder shall give the other person written evidence of that permission.
