Description of Type Design Change: Replace the Lindstrand Balloons Basket/Burner system and fuel tanks with the Balony Kubicek Basket Model K12, S/N 438; the Balony Kubicek Burner Model IGNIS 2 Units, S/N 747 and 748; and Schroeder Fire Balloons fuel tank, Model VA70, S/Ns A2849 and A2850. The Balony Kubicek Basket/Burner is installed via the standard Lindstrand Balloons carabiner (snaplink).
1. FAA Approved Balloon Flight Manual Supplement dated September 30, 2014, is required. 2. This modified balloon is to be maintained in accordance with the latest revision of the Instructions for Continued Airworthiness (ICA) from Lindstrand Balloons (Envelope), Balony Kubicek (Basket, Burner) and Schroeder Fire Balloons (Fuel Tanks) 3. You cannot use descriptive data about this design change to duplicate other products. This approval is limited to only the installation made in Lindstrand Balloons USA, Inc Model 90A, Serial No. 5232. This STC does not permit manufacturing of parts for multiple installations.
