The installation of Casper Labs 90 degree oil filter housing adapter in accordance with the Casper Labs “Installation Manual” CL1000 Rev. 8 dated May 5, 2005, as a replacement for Lycoming Engines oil filter adapter.

1. EXCEPTIONS that are NOT ELIGIBLE are the 76 Series engines (O-320-H2AD, O-360-E1A6D), engines with common drive dual magneto design and engines with non-standard accessory configurations.

2. The Casper P/N CL-1000A angled filter adapter is approved for use only with oil filter models CH48109, CH48109-1, CH48108, and CH48108-1.

3. If the holder agrees to permit another person to use this certificate to alter the product, the holder shall give the other person written evidence of that permission.

4. Compatibility of this design change with previously approved modifications must be determined by the installer.

5. A copy of this certificate and the FAA Approved Model List (AML) No. SE01930NY, issued July 22, 2004, or later FAA approved revisions, must be maintained as part of the permanent records for the modified aircraft.
