Description of Type Design Change: Installation of the Superior Air Parts Cold Air Induction System (CAIS) in accordance with the Wattum Aircraft Master Data List (MDL) No. 100, Rev. E, dated June 12, 2013 and Wattum Aircraft Installation Instructions, Doc. No. WAI78950, Rev. D, dated June 11, 2013.

1) Compatibility of this design change with other previously approved modifications must be determined by the installer.

2) Additional FAA approval is required to install an engine modified by this STC on an FAA certified aircraft.

3) If the certificate holder agrees to permit another person to use this certificate to alter the product, then the holder must give the other person written evidence of such permission.

4) Instructions for Continued Airworthiness, Doc. No. ICA JW100, Initial Issue, dated September 4, 2012, or later accepted revisions are required parts of this installation.

5) A copy of this Certificate must be maintained as part of the permanent record of the modified engine.
