Installation of a Crash Resistant Fuel System (CRFS) in accordance with Master Document List (MDL) AS350-1420-MDL, Revision A, dated November 30, 2017, or later FAA approved revision.

1) The installer must determine whether this design change is compatible with previously approved modifications.

2) If the holder agrees to permit another person to use this Certificate to alter the product, the holder shall give the other person written evidence of that permission.

3) Installation shall be maintained in accordance with Vector Aerospace “Instructions for Continued Airworthiness, for the Crash Resistant Fuel System (CRFS)”, Document Number HM-019-150G-ICA, Revision D, dated November 03, 2017, or later FAA accepted revision.

4) Rotorcraft Flight Manual Supplement (RFMS), Document Number AS350-1420-FMS, Revision B, dated December 01, 2017, or later FAA approved revision, is a required part of this installation.

5) This installation has been shown compliant with the requirements for a CRFS when concurrently installed with the rotorcraft manufacturer’s cargo swing. Compliance when any other external cargo swing is installed must be determined by the installer.

6) This installation is not compatible with the rotorcraft manufacturer’s Ferry Flight Fuel Tank installed in accordance with Airbus Helicopters modification 07-1370.

7) Concurrent installation of additional fuel tanks that have not been certified to 14 CFR Part 27 including Amendments 27-0 through 27-30 may reduce the crashworthiness of this system.

8) Not all fuels permitted by the rotorcraft manufacturer may be utilized with this CRFS. Fuels not listed in RFMS AS350-1420-FMS are not to be utilized without separate FAA approval.
