SR04481AT 02/13/2026 Limitations and Conditions :

1. The installer must determine whether this design change is compatible with previously approved modifications.

2. If the holder agrees to permit another person to use this certificate to alter the product, the holder shall give the other person written evidence of that permission.

3. This STC is approved for NVIS operations for AW139 helicopters with Serial Numbers: 41242, 41243, 41260, 41264, 41293, 41609, 41610, 41613, 41615.

4. For NVIS approved aircraft, the installation of NVIS Compatible Lighting Systems, P/N: 4G3360F00111 must be installed.

5. For NVIS approved aircraft, the installation of Honeywell Primus EPIC software, approved version 4.8 or later must be installed.

Certification Basis :

Based on 14 CFR 21.93 and 21.101, and the FAA policy for significant changes in FAA Order 8110.48, the FAA certification bases for the Leonardo S.p.a. AB139 and AW139 series aircraft modification is as follows:

(a) The type certification basis for the series Leonardo S.p.a. AB139/AW139 aircraft is shown on TCDS R00002RD for parts not changed or not affected by the change.

(b) The certification basis for parts changed or affected by the change since the reference date of application July 19, 2021, is based upon part 29 as amended by amendment 29-45. Based on 14CFR 21.101, and the FAA policy for significant changes in FAA Order 8110.48, the certification basis for this modification was determined to be:
