3. A copy of this certificate and the attached FAA Approved Model List must be maintained as part of the modified aircraft's permanent records.

4. Maintenance is to be performed in accordance with the following Instructions for Continued Airworthiness (ICA), or later FAA accepted revision. The ICA must be made available to the operator at the time of installation.

5. The installer must determine whether this design change is compatible with previously approved modifications.

Certification Basis:

Based on 14 CFR §§ 21.115 and 21.101, and the FAA policy for significant changes in FAA Order 8110.48, the certification basis for the installation of a Honeywell Primus II (XS-852) ADS-B Out System in the aircraft defined by FAA Approved Model List (AML), Pro Star Aviation 21378-AML-101, is as follows:

a. The type certification basis for all the models listed in FAA Approved Model List (AML), Pro Star Aviation 21378- AML-101, is identified in the applicable TCDS as listed in the AML for parts not changed or not affected by the change.

b. The certification basis for parts changed or affected by the change since the reference amendment date, October 6, 2017, is based upon Part 25 as amended by Amendment 25-98 as follows:

Based on 14 CFR § 21.101(g), applicable provisions of 14 CFR Part 26 are included in the certification basis for those aircraft so identified in FAA Approved Model List, Pro Star Aviation document number 21378-AML-101. For any future 14 CFR Part 26 amendments, the holder of this STC must demonstrate compliance with the applicable sections.

As of the reference amendment date of this STC, October 6, 2017, compliance has been found for the following regulations 14 CFR § 26.11(c) [26-0].
