Description of Type Design Change: Installation of an Executive Interior in accordance with Gore Design Completions (GDC), Ltd., Certification Drawing List (CDL), 538-SD-03, Revision Y, released April 11, 2013, or later ODA approved revision. The aircraft is to be maintained per the Instructions for Continued Airworthiness GDC Document Number 538-TP-05, Revision C, released April 05, 2013, or later FAA accepted revision. Use of Airplane Flight Manual Supplement, for Airbus A340-500 with Executive Interior, GDC Document Number 538-TP-49, Revision IR, issued April 09, 2013, or later ODA approved revision is required.

Limitations and Conditions: The installer must determine whether this design change is compatible with previously approved modifications. If the holder agrees to permit another person to use this certificate to alter the product, the holder shall give the other person written evidence of that permission.

Maximum seating for this aircraft, other than the pilot and co-pilot, is 2 cabin crew and 96 passengers. Other than the pilot and co-pilot, 8 flight attendants are required on board the aircraft for compliance with this STC. One flight attendant must be sitting at each emergency exit for taxi, takeoff, and landing. This aircraft is not to be operated for hire nor offered for common carriage.
