From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

Narrative: flight made an ILS approach to runway 36 at dca. Tower reported braking action as good by a B-737 and CE-650. Minimum autobrakes were selected by the crew. Landing, spoiler deployment, and application of reverse thrust to 1.5 epr were reported to be normal. Manual braking was commenced at 100 knots. Pilot stated to the tower on the radio that they had no brakes. Max braking was applied, but the aircraft went off the end of the runway into the overrun at a slow taxi speed. The aircraft was steered off centerline to avoid the approach lights. The aircraft was not damaged, and there were no injuries. Passengers were deplaned and taken to the terminal by bus. The aircraft was later towed to the gate.
