From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

Narrative: notified mike stockhill, NTSB, about results of this incident. During t/o the pilot felt as if the engine wasn't developing full power so he descended and landed on the same r/w. the student pilot thought he may over run so he applied the brakes hard and blew out a main gear tire. No other damage to the aircraft other than the ruptured tire & tube. Upon checking with show h, the a & p mechanic that looked over the engine, 2 new slick mags and an o/h on the carburetor cured the problem. The a/c was then returned to service.
