From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

Narrative: the pilot stated that at the first power reduction, after reading 1,000' above ground level to 25" manifold pressure and 2500 rounds per minute, he noticed oil pressure fluctuation on the left engine. The rounds per minute on the left engine began dropping and there was a small vibration on the left engine. The pilot feathered the left engine, called "mayday", and made a normal landing without further incident. An active runway was cleared and the pilot requested the aircraft be towed to a hangar.
