From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

Narrative: when descending into pit at approximately 50 NM southeast of the airport, the crew got an emergency DC bus failure message on the multi-function display unit (mfdu) with failure of the associated electronic equipment. Flight attendants also reported that the emergency lights in the cabin flashed on and off numerous times in flight. Crew stated they followed checklist procedures and received vectors for a 28L approach. Since gear indications were inoperative, the crew accomplished a low approach past the tower to confirm the gear was down. Crew declared an emergency for priority handling and made a visual approach full stop landing on 28L. Aircraft taxied to gate without further incident. Maintenance troubleshot system and found the ground handling blocking diode CR3 overheated and replaced. Operational check of the system was good and the aircraft was returned to service.
