From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

(-23) See attached faxed statment from pilot dated 7/21/99. Amended 09/13/99 to update block 22. The following is from david d. faust: damage to N3591P pa 31-325) date: July 15, 1999, place: north ramp area butler county/k.w. scholter field (btp) personnel: pilot, co-pilot, one passenger. Injuries: none. Text: at approximately 10:30 pm EDT the aircraft was taxied onto the north parallel taxiway for parking and passenger discharge at the butler aviation facility. The trip had been scheduled through butler aviation. After leaving the taxiway's yellow center-line to line-up with the wands being held by the ramp attendant I unknowningly left the macadam surface. Upon continuing the taxi to line-up with the ramp attendant the aircraft's nose wheel contacted an approximately 3.7 lip on the cement hangar ramp area. The hangar's ramp floodlights were not operating. The aircraft's nosewheel sheared off at the main strut housing, dropping the aircraft onto the housing and allowing the propellors to contact the ground and cement ramp surface. The co-pilot immediately evauated the passenger and removed him from the aircraft's vicinity, fearing a possible fire. I turned off al l swtiches and exited the aircraft. I notified company management by telephone.
