From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

IGL1920000010-N14268 departed mwa at 1400UTC. The pilot reported that as he was climbing through 2500 feet, and approximately 5 miles north of the mwa airport, he noted a sudden loss of right engine fuel flow with an immediate loss of right power. The pilot initiated a return to the mwa airport and attempted a restart of the right engine which was not successful. He completed the engine shutdown checklist and returned, with the right engine shutdown and feathered, to the mwa airport for a landing without further incident. Subsquent investigation of the right engine by a mechanic, revealed that the fuel line form the injector to the manifold valve was loose at the injector. The line was retorqued, the engine was started on the gound and operation satisfactorily. The aircraft was reutrned to service. This incident is closed with this report.
