From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

(-23) Aircraft landed gear up. According to the pilot, he had just returned from victoria, Texas, where he was practicing instrument approaches in preparation for a multi-engine ATP check ride. During his VFR approach into Sinton, Texas, he noticed that the left brake pedal was soft. He pumped the brake several times until the brake seemed normal. He thought the gear was down and landed. He indicated that he might have been distracted with the brake condition overlooking the landing gear position. He stated that he was wearing a headset and does no remember hearing the gear warning horn.
