From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

(-23) Flight was loaded and ready for pushback when it was discovered the fuel slip was missing from the flight deck. The jet bridge was extended and the L2 door opened for access to the aircraft. While in this condition the aircraft rolled aft approximately 11 feet, the L2 door struck the jet bridge and removed it from its attachment, depositing inside the jet bridge. Prior to the above situation the captain requested to maintenance to release the brakes because he believed the aircraft had hot brakes. The brakes were apparently not reset when the L2 door was opened.
